Your purchase also helps the Forest Service operate and maintain the sites you visit. Not sure if your destination requires a pass? Check the list of participating national forests below.
- Honored at all Forest Service recreation day-use fee sites in Washington and Oregon.
- Self-validating. Must be validated at the time of use.
- Valid for ONE DAY ONLY, until midnight of the day validated.
- Validate the pass yourself by printing clearly, in ink, the month, day and year you use it. Improper validation (incorrect or illegible date) may result in a warning notice or a violation notice.
- Admits pass owner and any accompanying passengers in a private vehicle at unstaffed sites.
- Display pass on dashboard on the driver’s side. For multiple days, a pass for each day must be visible in the vehicle.
