Evoking the 1940s, here's an image of Olympic National Park's Lake Crescent Lodge positioned invitingly in front of two boaters paddling in from a long afternoon on the lake. Using an array of soft and beautiful colors to render the water and surrounding scenery, artist Paul A. Lanquist captures the tranquil mood of dusk on Lake Crescent. Built in 1916, the Lake Crescent Lodge has functioned as a center for a variety of recreational activities, and has also allowed visitors to this area of Olympic National Park to experience a turn-of-the-century resort. Capturing the spirit of the past, this poster would make an excellent collectible or heartwarming gift for someone special.
